Default Skullduggery

This is my first build I have ever posted on RCC, so here it goes... I've been workin on this rig for a few weeks now... picked the chassis up from a guy that had aborted his project... when I got the chassis I saw why he had.... its geometry was off, I really like the shape so I whipped out the cutoff wheel and cut it up a bit, realigned everything to the right positions and had a friend tig it into place... once that was done it was time to do a little bodywork then a paint job... so 5 coats of black and a coat of green metal flake later it was looking much better... after that I made the skidplate, then some 3/8" delrin bottom links, 60/40 configuration... I had picked up a set of ax10 axles and trans from D&K hobbies my LHS... these as always worked perfect... because it was 60/40 the rear of the rig was longer and would have to be extended, I machined a piece of 3/8" delrin rod to make an upper link extension that slipped over the stock three link end, this made for a clean install.... next was the steering link, made from the same delrin rod... used a tower pro servo... the electrics are attached to a custom alum tray mounted to the upper link bolt... electric use is a mamba25 and an eflite 450 brushless setup.... last the custom body panels made from lexan with custom decals applied. for now the wheels are extra narrow rc4wd with rock claws. I guess thats about it.... here are the pics.

this has not been out to the rocks yet (closest rocks 1hr away)... but yes I believe it will be a bit of a prob, the skid is very slick and I hope that will help

So does that mean the panels are printed, not painted? If so, it still looks great. If they are painted, you've got some awesome skills!

Overall, it looks great, with the exception of the front end. Just my opinion but aesthetically it'd be nice to see a slightly longer hood. Still, a sweet looking rig!
