I like the polished frame! I too dig the bug body.... I have one myself, and stripped the green off my rings, and flipped my shock bumpers, softened my springs... All in all- yours looks like a very capable rig!

Wanna share some tech? Maybe even pics of your RX/ESC mounting?

If you and I were to enter a comp tomorrow it would be driver skill that made the winner! Our rigs are almost identical right down to rx/ ESC placment! I did flip my shocks inverted to get every ounce as low as possible. I also used the rear servo mount for my 1250 lipo, and used BB's/ lead in the front wheels (depending on if I'm using Moabs or Claws).

It's amazing how well these perform in with so few, inexpensive tweaks. When I went to a local comp last week I thought I would be one of the "losery" guys with my AX- I was wrong! Almost half the rigs out there were based off the AX Chassis, including Jasons badass 08 comp rig. The thing that really suprised me- there were rigs setup just a little different than ours that were doing stuff his couldn't! Granted- sometimes it's just a roll of the dice weather a tire hooks up or not-

Anyway- enjoy your rig!

You're not the only one ! I never liked the real ones ,but as an RC body it is functional......rolls over like a ball. Unfortunatly it looks like a VW.:-( That is a nice paint job.
