The springs they give you they go under the shock pistion and pull the shock shafts up into the shocks... Here is mine.. I put both shocks on the chassis like how they show on the back..

Yeh im going to do my shocks like that tonight....im just having a problem now with my stupid front axle wont move when i pull the throttle so i tore the axle apart and i noticed it seemed like on of the bearings right outside the diff was froze up so i unfroze it put it all back together and when i turned the driveshaft the axle turned as well so i was like great! its fixed....wrong....i completely installed it back on the truck and its doing the same darn thing again only the rear wheels turn grrrrrr so now i gotta take it back apart and figure out why the front end isnt working right...

does the driveshaft to the front axle rotate? if so, you probably need to tighten the setscrew on the shaft to the axle. I had that happen to me out on the rocks, you really need to crank down on the setscrews on the front shaft. they like to loosen up on ya.
