Hi all I have just purchased a axial ridgecrest as an entry into crawling, arrived yesterday and its still pretty much stock, i have flipped the links already for a lower stance and also added a waterproof box for the esc and receiver to sit in (well it will be when i seal it up). unfortunatly i didnt realise it had no battery included when i bought it (saw RTR and thought it was RTR) so all iv been able to use is a half dead nicad battery. doesnt give me much runtime but its ok for now. I have 2x 3000mAh 2s lipos on order that should sort my batteries and runtime out. Im off out tomorrow to find some rocks and have some fun anyway heres a few pics. Hope you like Aiden I popped on some drift wheels for a giggle, looks ok i reckon And proof of concept https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1escpQblPg Aiden Last edited by THX_138; 06-08-2013 at 12:34 AM. |

| My new ridgecrest. Using the 27t motor out of my honcho, lowered it, cut the tires and body(poorly) and moved the battery to the front. Big plans for it. Playing at the local fishing hole. Flexing on the yota. Last edited by THX_138; 06-08-2013 at 12:31 AM. |

Drove it. Broke it. Fixed it. Obligatory work bench flex shot on the beer I drank while fixing the ridge. |

Here is mine, haven't done much other than modifying the stock components. Cut the body and eliminated the rub. I lowered it about as far as I can until I modify the frame. Stock out of the box KCCO |
