Fresh outta the box, just threw a spare set of wheels & tires on it. Lame backyard crawling, but was fun non the less.    Forgot to take my camera out with me today, but got some more upgrades done. This is my axial ridgecrest converted to a Baja Bug with bumblebee theme. Upgrades include: -front universals, aluminum links and C-hubs and knuckles -lowered ride height and front-mounted LiPo -motor, servo and esc are still stock (planning to upgrade soon)   My AX10 Ridgecrest dressed up as a Bumble Bee Baja Bug! Mods include: -waterproof Hitec servo -aluminum links, hubs and knuckles throughout -R35 tires with front wheel weights -front mounted LiPo battery (5000 mAh main pack and 1300 mAh punch pack mounted under main batt) -35t Tekin brushed motor Link to slideshow below (my newbie status prevents me from uploading photos): Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket Heres my ridgecrest baja bug in action for those who might be interested.... Here is mine, I didnt do anything crazy yet. Just flipped the shock mounts and added black shocks to the rear. Drove it across the yard, and in the small trail I made around my house. I will say, this thing is awesome.  |
