servo killer! I killed my stock servo too - replaced it with a hitec 7950 - now my servo keeps wanting to escape! After 10 to 15 mins of run time I have to stop and tighten all the servo screws... So did you make your own custom servo mount? It looks beefy. and sorry I can't shed any light on HT's customer service - haven't had a need for it - yet... Cheers, Todd |

I soon will have an opinion on their service......but for now.... Anyways, yeah the stock servo mounts are plastic and keep loosening off. A little dab of CA glue held for quite a while but still loosened off.... I think aluminum ones are needed..... My guard is just some 1"x1" aluminum angle cut with a hack saw, drilled in my drill press, and hand filed smooth.......it helps hold the servo by clamping it between it and the mount thus eliminating the chance of servo ears being ripped off. |

Very cool!! How are you Creeper shock caps holding out? I popped the caps off my Creeper shocks right away and safety wired them on.

They are holding up great.....so far..... I have to replace the diaphragms in two of them.......but I am only running enough oil in them to lube em anyways........... LHS has a complete rebuild kit for them in stock right now so I may pick it up and rebuild em right. Or just keep running them..... I should take some more recent photos.................. |

| Re: Trevinator's AX10 RidgeCrest I just did this and am not totally pleased. first the rockster offset is greater making the stance wider, not necessarily good. and rover whites seem to be too flimsy, i dont know if its the foam or what, but the tires seem flat and i even drilled air holes in the wheels.

The rocksters are to wide. I wish they were narrower too. They are for the AX-10 offset, not Wraith/Ridgecrest offset. I added some memory foam rings I made on top of the stock foams, much better now. |

Do you have bends on your upper suspension links? They look straight to me. I made custom lower links on mine and attempted to bend the uppers but I think I need thicker ID tubing, or get some stainless (I used aluminum).
