|  crunching noise when turning???
Hey y'all, Under heavy steering, to the left, I hear this hideous crunching noise. I've attempted to isolate the sound and it seems to be originating from the axle shaft universals. Is this a common issue with a very high torque servo (7950). I'm still running the stock universals, I'm just wondering if I should upgrade to the VP's... I've done a bunch of mods to the Ridgecrest - Beef tubes, HD gears, VP CHubs & knuckes, etc... Any thoughts on this would be appreciated! Thanks, Todd |

I have a lot of the same mods, lots of VP on the axels and stock universals. Could be you locker spinning inside the diff, could the the uni, I had a similar issue with the right but it turned out to be a tire just rubbing the shock spring. Check your EPA on your radio too, you could be turning the universal farther than its supposed to go, causing it to bind.

Ditto I was gonna say same as gravelduster to check end point adjustments(I had one making noise like that and that what it was)
