Second time out with the Ridgecrest today, had fun for a while.Front wheel drive stopped, and it started clicking.Pulled the trans apart,no lube!Three little screws fell out, plastic gear and case shavings everywhere....Any advice on what to purchase,stock/aftermarket???

I don't know if the Ridgecrest transmission is like the SCX-10 or the Wraith. If it's like the SCX-10, buy Robinson Racing #1541 & #1542. Put those in (with enough lube), close it up, and forget about it.

I gave you the part numbers for the SCX-10 tranny gears. I think that is the transmission the Ridgecrest runs.

Grease is a whole other thread all together. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic (red) grease.

Go ahead and order the idler gear. Those two metal gears will eat that little idler for lunch. If you get into a bind, don't throttle out.
