| New Ridgecrest!
I recieved my new Ridgecrest yesterday in the mail, from towerhobbies.com. I drove the ridgecrest around the house before removing the 20 turn motor and the AE-2. I installed a Novak ballistics 13.5 with 14mm rotor and a Brushless Hobbies LT4 120 amp ESC and a 18 tooth pinion gear. Now with 3s lipo this thing rocks I will post some pic's today after work. |

I noticed today at lunch. My motor goes faster in reverse than it does forward. What is the deal with that?

The motor running faster in reverse was a timing problem. I decided to remove the Novak motor and install a 5700 4 pole Castle motor. It is so much fun with this motor. I still need to drive it more to figure out what gearing I need to run.
