| Any ridgecrest-based scaler's out there?
I recently picked up a ridgecrest for my son's first rc, still a few months before he'll be able to use it so it will be my/wife's toy until then. My plans are to bulletproof the drivetrain and run it mostly on the trails and some rocks. I've already done the basics like flipping link mounts, rebuilding shocks, moved battery, trimmed tires, etc. Which truck bodies will fit on it nicely? I have seen a couple pickups fit the wheelbase pretty well, and I'm thinking dingo flares to help widen it a little. Maybe a Dingo body trimmed out like a rock buggy? Just looking for any suggestions or ideas, Thanks! |

parma and proline make a few truck bodies. im in the middle of fitting a tamiya hilux toyota body for mine. the wheel base is a lil shorter then the ridgecrest but when its flexed it actually tucks in the wheel wells jus nice.
