Rig is looking great!
Pull the trans and locktite the three slipper screws...I have heard it a bunch of times so I did it.
And there was no locktite.
I did most of the same tweaks as you.mount swap etc 55t motor(should have gone 35)
I swapped the batt tray to the front
Added a bec to run my turnigy 767 mg servo at 7.4v.Dremaled the tires to try and improve them before replacing them.still going to upgrade steering parts though the plastic is too flexy for me.

i indeed pulled the trans and gave her some loctite. i also cut my tires to some suitable traction for now. i have the axial 103mm aluminum shocks i am awaiting oil for to be installed. yeahthat was the first thing did was got rid of the junk plastic steering linkage and replaced it with the aluminum linkage and servo horn. nice looking picture of your ride. thanks for the share

Well I couldn't stop myself...lol gained a inch of width.proline Titus beadlocs and 2.2 swampers in g8
They feel much better.

It's a shame the trepadors look really good but are just not grippy enough for me.

Thanks for posting your pictures and sharing your experience with the tires. I ran my Deadbolt for the first time last night and was ultra disappointed with the stock tires. They have to go immediately. I couldn't imgagine in my wildest dreams that those tires would perform so poorly.

Just played in the yard for a few minutes. Tires made a big improvement added about 4.5 oz to each front wheel. The swampers are far softer and stickier than the trepadors going to carve them (Trepadors)up more see if they can be made to grip better.

Extra width is not what these axles need. Get the snippers and Dremel out and start siping and modding the Trepadors. Some good beadlocks and CI foams for tuning will do a lot for you.
