Default Axial Ax10 Deadbolt and AE-5

Any ideas where you guys would mount this ESC, my son crossed the battery cables on his AE-2 and he wanted to try the AE-5 so i found a deal and got one.

But he says it wont fit in the mount for the ae-2 i need to look into this tomorrow. but i figured i could get some input from the masses.

The height of the AE-5 looks to be more than the AE2. Maybe some zipties & velcro could hold it in the same spot as the AE2?
