What foams are you running in those sedonas? How did you get such a clean cut?

I used some dull scissors to cut the tires wish I had a sharp pair. Basically just followed grooves in the tire lugs. Foams, rear tires are some old losi boss claw foams I narrowed because I want a firm feel in the rear(After I typed that last part I felt a little less heterosexual).
Front foams are a custom 2stage firm inner, soft outer.

Wider then I wanted my rig to be hopefully I'll get used to or I'll swap back to my original setup or narrow front axle.
Few pics to answer your question.

Compared to my berg rig.

I'm running 11 1/8" up front and 10 5/8" in the rear. You'll get used to it. Side hills like a mofo like that btw! Give it a chance i think you'll like it!

Sporty got a unexpected update when Erik released the Hamburger Transmission. This got me motivated to finally Upgrade my Rig... By recycling some Crawling parts I was able to complete this task with no out of pocket money

Upgrades installed
Dlux Hamburger Trans
Dlux Knuckle Weights V2
Homes Hobbies BR-Mini

I bought trans with the intentions of installing my own V1 Berg gears with a alum Hamburger trans locker. In order to use my stock berg gears I needed to find a spacer for the small 3rd gear.
Dlux trans with drilled v1 Berg gears. Is 25 grames lighter than my stock scx10 trans with plastic gears.

spacer..

Hamburger trans

stock scx10 trans with out spur cover.

Dlux Knuckles weights v2 running these on VP 8* scale C's . building these knuckles "should" have been simple but I had a special ED moment building them... so I walked away started over the next day
When building Dlux knuckle weights for 8* C'c xr/wraith/scale use all 4 included lexan spacers top and bottom each knuckle.

8* Dlux V2 KW= Flathead screws top arm with 1 lexan spacer.
........................Button Head screws bottom arm with 1 lexan spacer.

showing lexan spacers

bottom arm

total weight with .100 ring both sides.

Holmes Hobbies Br-Mini

transmission and motor fits nice and slug inside the 5th dimension sucker Punch

Spend your money on the Hamburger transmission with with confidence. I've had this out at two comps, haven't had a single issue with it at all. Trans held up to everything I threw at it. If I needed another one I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
With the recent upgrades (Dlux knuckle weights, Hamburger transmission and Holmes Hobbies br-mini) to my rig, it's crawling better than ever.

Btw I'm running drilled stock berg gears with a 12t pimion.

I had my bearings come loose in my Dlux v2 knuckle weights.
Bearings are held in tight with red loctight when you receive them from Eirk. So really wasn't a big deal they came loose. Removed my knuckle weights so I could reloctite my bearings in the bearing pockets.
I must have gotten generous with the Loctite (green).
After letting everything dry over night both my inner bearings 10x16x4mm each side were seized/Frozen... Luckily I was able to unseize 1 side. However the other side was a different story... if there was an easy way to remove the bearing I couldn't think of it at the time.
The way I remove my inner bearing from the knuckle trying not to destroy it.
I used a small file and small drill bit to modify the bearing pockets. From the small bearing side i had to create a Groove all the way to OD of inner bearing to tap the bearing out.
Destroyed the bearing in the process but I believe I saved the knuckle weight. Waiting on new bearings.

Pic of my modified knuckle.

So now what's the easy way I could have removed the inner bearing?

Heat. Little crack torch lighter, toaster oven, small map torch with short bursts.

If the outer bearing was able to be pulled easy .... vice, big socket on the inner bearing side, press something through the outer bearing area pushing the inner bearing into the bigger socket.

Question though .... can you do the paper trick to the brass like we did with XR locker bearings? Put small strips of paper in the bearing bore and ca them, they would take up the slop for the bearing but easy to remove later on. Just a thought.

I should've mentioned I tried heating knuckle/bearing also tried tapping large bearing out from small bearing side (small bearing removed). By tapping on the ID of large bearing this is how I destroyed the large bearing LMAO. On a good note the green locktite should keep the bearings from ever becoming loose again.

Maybe I just didn't let it get hot enough?

I haven't tried the paper trick.

Yes green. When I get my new bearings I think I'll just put 3 tiny dots on outer edge of the bearing.

Yes I really did exactly the same as tapped-out a couple weeks ago doing the exact same thing but it was red so it broke free.

Maybe I'll just use red when I reassemble the knuckle.
