Default The "What The Hell am i doing building a sporty" Thread

I dropped my shaft driven pro rig like a hot rock as soon as I could get my hands on a berg......that was over 6 years ago....
Without lookin back....................
a few friends would ask when I was going to build a shafty, I would tell them NEVER, i don't want to go backwards.........

Boredom, maybe, something to do, probably........
so here is the start........
Going to see if i can do this on the cheap.......

Narrowed empty AR60's from Everett...(8-454).... thank you..

and some parts from the wanted section.....

thank you Binaryterror and winnerone23........

the Dux truss wont work on a narrowed axle so that's out......

it will use Max shafts........ cheap and easy..........
cut and tanged wraith uni's
Stock gears
20 dollar motor
LotO plastic parts

thanx for laffing and lookin...........

I reworked my Dlux truss to fit the 3/4" narrowed AR 60s in my IBEX Camaro. Works fine.
