Default My ax10 deadbolt build

Well I think I've finally gotten my deadbolt to point where Iam enjoying it haha. I knew nothing about Rc when I bought my deadbolt, been doing but nothing but reading and trying different stuff since I got it, I def caught the bug.

Mod list
Axial 55t motor
Robinson racing metal trans gears
Mip driveshafts
Beef tubes in front and rear axles
Axial hd gears and insicion spools
Axial universal front axle shafts
Losi 4in crawler shocks
3000 3s lipo relocated to the front
Vanquish steering and suspension links
Boom racing c hubs and knuckles
Savox 1230 servo

Kinda just making this thread for the new guys like me to come look at to see what your gonna want to/need to upgrade.

Upgraded to a Savox servo. Added a castle BEC set at 7.0v and got some gearhead wheels with some proline tsl xl's. Put some vanquish rear lockouts on aswell.

Nice, I'll be watching your progress on this. I'm new to these as well and my son just got a scx10 a lil over a month ago and I've been doing a few things to it.

I would like to get another one but have been looking at these ax10 deadbolts. Seem like a a pretty good deal for what you get and upgrade as you go. I notice your not far from me. I live about 20 minutes from Chattanooga.

Really like how low and sleek it sits. I really need to lower my body on mine as it seems so tall compared to the way yours sits. I didn't get to use mine much last year but this year I plan on using it a lot more.

I am looking at getting a crawler / trail rig and I keep coming back to the Ax10. Yours looks great. How does it crawl? How much do you have invested overall?

Thanks for taking the time to write up your mods and show the awesome pics.

I am contemplating getting an ax10 after my first foray into rc was buying a traxxas slash a few months ago.

Looks awesome!

Making some changes. Got some axial hd gears and insicion spools. My tekin 35t motor fried while i had it in my wraith so just picked up a axial 55t motor for now. Also mirrored the motor and trans and swapped front and rear axles to shift some more weight to the front. Running 3000mah 3s now instead of the 2200. Fired the savox 1256 so Got a 1230 coming in tomorrow and need some beef tubes for the now front axles and I'll get some pics and try it out. Also have some gearhead wheels with some voodoo u4's aswell.
