Default Evil Crawler Ringer Sportsman Build

I'm beginning a Sportsman build with a Ringer chassis and am wondering if anyone else is running one of these. This may be a simple answer, but I'm running a VP SCX transmission housing and am wondering what you guys are using for a motor mount? I'm having trouble fitting the trans in the chassis without the spur hitting, and the motor plate is hitting the side of the chassis. The trans I have came with a Super Shafty motor plate and I thought about just busting out the dremel to clearance it, but it may just be overkill on a Sporty. What should I look at? Thanks!

Alan

It has been awhile since I sold my ringer, but I don't remember any problems at all fitting a motor plate. I seem to recall a few different versions. On mine, there were 4 main parts, aside from the skid, there were upper and lower rails on both sides. Maybe put a wider spacer in between the upper and lower rails on the right side?
