Default The "What The Hell" #2

With only 1 time behind the wheel of my first sporty build, i took it to the AZ shoot out, and placed very well with it......

the reason i sold it off was to pay for a speeding ticket that i got going to AZ...
i now realize that i should'nt have sold it.....

but now i get to build another...

So on to #2 build.......
there will only be a few differences, because the thing worked soooo well.....

Collecting A few parts......

Yes, this is going to be another Narrowed set of AR60's.......

Whittled out a new front plate to hold servo, RX, BEC, ESC and battery
and its also the upper link mount........

New rear link mount....

Kinda hard to see but should be plenty of Adjustment........

Thats all for now...
waiting on my chassis from Krazed Builds......

thanx for lookin.........

Thank you....

rear upper link mount is a challenge with narrowed AR60's
center has to move over about 3/4 "in......

How wide are the axles now? Did you have to make new shafts for them?

You have to sleeve them with Heavy wall alum, tubing, and epoxy them....

its a shame the other one had to go, at least you have the means to do it again! Building is the fun part anyway.

do you think you will do an exact copy or change some things up?

What..? those Over Priced pieces of art.........

but i only need a shock/ link mount with one hole , the one lower hole..

besides, when you narrow the axles, you really dont need the angle on the mounts...........

Chassis cross braces drilled and tapped for body mounts.....

The Yeah Racing Cross braces/ links are about 3 dollars cheaper per set than the axial ones.......
