| What hardware for Traxxas BigBores on AX10?
As title stated. The upper Traxxas screws are not long enough to utilize spacers & do not allow for any rotation.

If you mean the Traxxas Big Bore 4962s, I have these on my AX10 (I'm a huge fan of these shocks, well priced and I've never had one leak ). I just made a spacer for each shock and used a longer screw. I also used the springs from the original Axial shocks supplied with the gen2 AX10. I find the red springs supplied by Traxxas too firm for my liking. Losi Gold and Black springs work as well but the Black is discontinued so that's why I'm experimenting with some of the Axial springs. Some people I know take the top cap off the shock, cut the eye off the cap with a dremel cutoff wheel, remove the inner seal, drill a 1/8" hole in the cap, mount a rod end with a screw through the hole and then put the inner seal back in. Makes the pin-to-pin a little longer but no spacer required and lots of movement in all directions. |
