Default Axial suspension setup.

I was planning to buy the dinky rc cantilever setup but I watched a video earlier and the guy basically did the same spring setup. Will this work or will it create suspension problems? I'm wanting to add a bed. Photos do not belong to me.

As long as you have enough travel and the shock acts as a positive bump stop it should be okay, assuming the chassis rail is not warping. Spring rates would be the only thing you need to get right, with the angled shock a rising rate spring would likely be the way to go.

This will work, but I would try to find some shorter shocks, that still have enough travel. I would also add a cross-member between the frame rails and screw the upper shock mount screws into that instead of nuts, more strength. Also I've found it's best to let the upper and lower shock mounts rotate around freely, otherwise they will attempt to unscrew the caps resulting in leaks. BTW those are sweet looking aluminum shocks.

Agreed and definitely a rising rate spring with them leaned forward that much, otherwise the rear will tend to squat easier on climbs, leading to loss of traction and rolling over backwards if it's steep enough.
