Got the rear axle final assembled.
Rear has some negative camber built into the lockouts, so uni’s it is.
I have regular portal box covers but leaving these weight holders on for now, in case rear weight is needed.

Transmission and motor final installed.

was TT factored in on the side the driveshafts were choosen to be on?
awesome trans.

what pin to pin measurement is your axle width closest to on an axial rig? SCX? XR? AR60?

TSS building on road racers, and Shane building carbon fiber comp rigs.

Everything was "factored" into this rig. For example, there are only two adjustment points on the axle upper links.

I'd have to measure the pin to pin.

I was hastily hand hacking carbon fiber comp rigs back in 2011 !

These are 9.3” pin to pin and AR60’s are 9.65” pin to pin.

Great build. How much was the setup from high altitude performance? Also, how did you narrow the axle shafts (what tools did you use?)?

Thanks. Just some calipers and a dremel to cut the shaft to length and to grind the flats.

Foams and tires.

Narrowed Ottsix Voodoo Gold Pins. Narrowed up a pair of silvers too.

Crawler Innovations 5.5 and 6.0 double deuce comp cut narrow inners

Random picture of the quality parts used in this build. Old comp body from 8 years ago painted by BC Paints! That I never threw away or sold.
