I’m going back and fourth with brushed and brushless but the cost is making me lean towards brushed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My Holmes Hobbies BR-XL esc is waterproof. And I always thought that it doesn’t matter with brushed motors underwater. Back in the old days I would break in my brushed motors dipped in water. Dry them out and re-oil the bearings and I was good to go with perfectly seated brushes And Holmes Hobbies sells a conformal coating that will void your esc’s warranty but will make it waterproof Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro | |

Do you want top of the line, budget or mid range? The HobbyWing WP 1080 is a great, inexpensive ESC. If you plan to run in mud you should get a sealed can motor. |
