Hey folks, been out of the game quite a while and trying to bring my shafty crawler back to life. I used to have a hacked GT3-C for it but it's long gone. Is there a radio anyone would recommend that I can program to work with the dog easy enough (i.e. three position thumb switch on grip) or do I need to track down another hacked GT3-C? Thanks! |

Radiolink RC6GS. This is a killer radio and only 80.00 on Amazon direct from Radiolink. 6 channel (with Telemetry for Rig/RX Battery levels with the RC7 receivers). Full mixing capabilities. thumb button (2 position) on the handle and another button in thumb reach just under the headstock on the handle. Then 2 3 way switches above the steering wheel. Full Trim, subtrim, epa and mixing available on all channels etc. Its essentially a 400.00 radio in an 80.00 package. Will handle 3s or 4s in the Transmitter and has a near 1800 ft range (been tested). One downfall, it looks like the early version of the Spectrum radios from 2007ish. LOL Its a little bulky, but otherwise. I am not sponsored or anything. Dont get anything for sales etc. I just Needed a radio, took a change, and now I have all my rigs on it except my No Prep Rigs. I have them on my old Nomaido Reacts. https://www.amazon.com/Radiolink-Tra...NsaWNrPXRydWU= |

Not sure, but you may be able to use one of the thumb buttons as a 3 way. Ive not tried myself.

I do like my FlySky GT5. Just don't use it enough to be very familiar with it. I do know it is a bit more limited in options/setting than the Radiolink. | |

Just wanted to thank you guys and let you know the Radiolink RC6GS worked out perfect! It was a super quick setup and the end point adjustments worked out perfect. Couldnt be happier. WAAAAY easier to set up than my old hacked Flysky radio.

Wish I'd done some research and learned about radiolink before going Spektrum on everything. Looks like the receivers are rated for 10v and cost nothing, also!
