The spur gear is not interchangeable. It was running on 3S for that video shoot.

Two positions for the ESC and receiver are another awesome feature!

Is a pinion included in the kit?

I think a lot of my nerdier questions will be answered once the instruction manual is uploaded on Axial's site.

Just a heads up, I won't be around much today or this weekend but i'll try to get back next week to answer more questions. Today will be spotty as i have a ton of stuff at work to take care of....so don't think i'm avoiding Jato's questions or anyone else...just gotta catch up here in the office and then family weekend stuff.

Thanks,
Rich

Everyone has... well the majority of buyers don't have half of a clue what geometry is or how it affects their rig. They just do whatever it is someone else do with no questions. I would raise the upper links at the rear axle (guessing since I don't have the rig in front of me obviously) about 3/8" and at the chassis about 1/4" so there is much more control over wrap and squat.
Thank you.

4.19 or 4.33" somewhere 4.5" or smaller, lower COG and good looks.

Give me the rear geometry that I want and I'll live with a crappy front end. The front isn't bad enough to make me change it immediately and I'd bet the rear won't make me happy. Throw some weight on them knuckles with some sticky tires and let's go play.

It's all about the tune. Throw the right shock setup at each suspension setup and things change. Just changing geometry by itself usually isn't the hot ticket for performance.
Agreed.

I see the Team Losi Racing plastics in the close up pictures, awesome!

You can set a rig up so it turns on a dime but it's going to suck at climbing. Everything is a tradeoff.
Yep.

This'll be the first rig I own with portals...
Wondering if, with the portal gear reduction, there is a decrease in torque twist?

Yeah I was impressed with how the TRX-4 could do a wheelie lifting both front tires at the same time (due to the portals)

Excited for my first portal and dig rig. Was planning a bomber build but this being a kit is first priority..
Do we have pics or info on the layout for system placement? Will an Axe fit and what kv was used in the vid?

Lets put a dig in a new rig, but dont put the servo in it. So dont that make it partially rtr? Sure u can drive it, but only use half of the rigs capability...
