It sucks to be kept waiting. I need to know now if I need to be saving for this or spend it I'm the new yard. Mmmm what to do. Sucks to be a adult. Maybe I'll get a 3rd job...that's it thats how I'll pay for it.

Likin' what I'm seein' so far... I'll admit, if there's a dig function it'll be somewhat lost on me as I don't comp-crawl, I am more into climbing than descending. Perhaps I'll need to learn how to use it? Could be fun! Likely to be my B-day or Xmas gift to myself, so I can wait 2-3 months or so if I have to. |

But no trailing arms and they may have actually taken geometry into some sort of consideration with this one.

"I'll admit, if there's a dig function it'll be somewhat lost on me as I don't comp-crawl, I am more into climbing than descending." DIG helps a lot with steep climbs, you know the ones where the front is at the point of lifting. Free wheeling the rear axle stops the rear torque from lifting the front. Like I said, maybe I'll need to learn how to use it... As I have never tried out anything with it installed, I thought it was mainly used to lock the rear and pivot the front end through gates, in comp crawling. Last edited by durok; 09-05-2019 at 10:29 PM.

My OG 1.9 wraith runs the Axial dig unit...yup takes a bit of getting use to using it effectively but dang its fun. I can heat the front tires up, reposition the front end and for the steep stuff...i can lock the back and just when the front tires start hooking up, slam it into 4x4 and hopefully use the momentum and loaded up front tires to pull my chunky little wraith up. Not everyone really needs dig or 4WS for that matter, but if you play in the rocks as much as I do, it could come in handy. In the early teasers of the Capra they showed a servo mounted on the trans and I am honestly hoping that is a Dig and not 2 speed.

Tires say 1.9 x 4.7 from the looks of it. Maybe a 12.5” wb? Wonder what we’ll see for shocks. |

I'm just about hanging on but losing interest. Just show us a cool video, like the Yeti promotional video so we can see what it is and if we need to put some budget aside.

The front end on this one is clearly very narrow and it looks like the battery mount would be right behind the shock mount. I wonder if this is going to be the first Axial that doesn't fit a full size 5000+ mah battery pack.

The Bomber never really fit my 5000 3s packs very well at all. If it is smaller, I'd have no issues running smaller packs because this looks a little more performance oriented.

I hate long drawn out teasers. Just release the damn thing. One of the earlier videos showed the sidewall pretty clear and they said Trail Grapplers, so nothing special or new tire wise. Maybe new factory means new shocks and they will finally make some that dont suck. |

| Re: The unofficial official axial portal buggy. Back in 08 Team Magic teased their new 1/8 buggy for like 14 months. They released info piece by piece (ie gas tank, wheels, clutch etc) each month. By the time it was all over I was so emotionally exhausted I never got around to buying it. The king of all teases was the HPI Savage Octane. The tasing lasted 4 years from 2010 to 2014 lol. |
