It coming soon...very soon. I just dropped clients in Santa Cruz, then quickly headed to the beach, before it got too dark, to take a couple of photos of the Capra on the beach (yea, had the goat stuffed in a box in the limo's trunk...lol).

Before I pick up my final client of the day, I'm going to try and get a couple of shots with the Capra's lights on. Just need get close to the client's location first, and to find an "appropriate" location, which matches the Capra's 'theme'.

Wanted to ask a couple questions regarding the tranny build.
1 Why is the gear on the right slightly higher (offset) from the main spur gear?
2 Is that bad?
3 How tight should I tighten the nut on the slipper. In the photo, I used a wrench and torqued it down crazy hard. You can barely see it, but the plastic spacer under the nut is flexing a tad. You guys have been saying to just tighten the s#it out of it, so I did.

It's supposed to be flush. You sure you got the bearings in all the way? Or did you miss the slipper pad and disc on the other side of the spur gear?

I'm running a set of OG SCX10 axles with a Capra cage and skid plate. Maybe that's the one you saw, I don't know.

Here you go. If you use a ball mount, try and find the lightest one you can.

Manfrotto Universal Smartphone Clamp, Pro Version (MCPIXI) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K6GHL24..._RuE2DbEXRPVG5

So I know the benefits of OD gears in climbing situations. Are there any detriments with having them as far as wear or strain in non-climbing situations like trail running or the occasional bashing since the front wheels are basically dragging the rear to some extent?

Not really. If you have a rig that really moves out to say 25+ mph then you can watch the rear bounce around being drug along but for a normal trail rig they're fine.

Very cool!

I don't think they'll be first to the market.

Treal has them in aluminum with adjustable brass C's, knuckles and covers as well as upgraded stub shafts.
