Silly Me forget to Unlplug the Pack. Took only a few days for power to drain way below minimum voltage levels even with ESC Power Switch Turned-Off.

Oh yeah,Battery now Wasted. Voltage too low to Safely Revive.

Anyways, PLEASE Don't forget to unplug and ENJOY the Hobby!
I've had a few batteries that I thought were 'dead'...not even my Hitec X2 AC Black Edition could chosen them...but, my iCharger Duo 406 had no problem "bringing them back to life". Granted, I did have to start the charging multiple times - each time I started the charging, it would charge for 3-5 minutes, then stop & give me the 'below voltage' message...but, after restarting the charging (and it stopping again) process a few times, it finally bright the battery back above the low/minimum voltage level, and I was able to fully charge them after that.

I'm not saying yours will do the same (I have no personal experience with Spektrum's 'Smart' batteries), but it's worth a shot.

If you charge them as nicads or nmh up to the minimum lipo voltage any charger will work. I would do it at a low amperage myself. And monitor them closely.

No idea how safe it is, seems like there is a reason lipo chargers don't just do this on their own you know.

Super Cautious Nowadays. Did not know how my Revolectrix 5000mAh 70C pack Overheated using a New Touch ThunderPower Charger. Everything was suppose to be FoolProof.

Anyways While charging, I was complacent and multi-tasking and watching Netflix. Then wondered what was that burning smell for a few minutes. Well it was the pack I was charging. Had a Sticker Temp and it was at 65 Centigrate.

I panicked. The next week, disposed about 2 dozen old Packs - ThunderPower, Revolectrix, RACE MaxAmp, and more. Then switch to Spektrum Smart Packs and their charger. Still have my NEW 6S 5000mAh KDLipo Competition Gold 75C Packs fo my Large Scale and more.

Anyways, Please stay Safe/take precautions when Charging LIPO packs especially Indoors and at HOME!

I tried as you describe and it worked twice on other packs. I have not tries with this pack. I'd be glad if it works. Thanks!

I did forget to mention one "precaution" to take when following my suggestion. When charging normally, I'm usually charging all a higher C-rating. For "bringing batteries back from the dead", charge NO HIGHER than 1C.

Does the Capra need an External BEC?

Name: Screenshot 2019-12-19 at 6.48.15 PM.jpg
Views: 1273
Size: 75.3 KB

Set my XR10 Pro internal BEC to 6V (optional 7.2v not recommended if with the Spektrum "Dig" micro-servo) + Spectrum Smart 2200mAh 100C/200C

Hobbywing 17.5 G3R
Steering HPS-A700 6.6v/7.2v 68KG/74kg
Spektrum Dig
Axial Capra LED Bar

For now NO External BEC Needed Nor RX 7.2V Battery OPTO

BUT if the Steering Servo will Glitch, especially when tires get caught between Rocks and there is NO Forward Throttle Response, then it's time to install an External BEC to separately Power the Steering Servo.

Thanks for your Interest and Patience. Please Enjoy!

Some ask, can we GO 17.5T Brushless Combo for a Capra Rock Crawler?

Hobbywing did Design the Xerun XR10 Pro G2 160A & 17.5T XeRun V10 G3R for a 10th Scale Race Buggy.

Name: IMG_6634.jpg

BUT if you want to "Recycle" fa 17.5T motor from your RACE Buggy to your Capra Rock Crawler, you'll need to go 9Tooth 32P Pinion + 2S -- Good Enugh for Rock Crawling.

BUT if your buying a New Hobbywing, they recommends the V10 G3R 21.5T or 25.5T for Rock Crawling.

So if Marking/Notch are both on the left or right side, we can determine that turning the link "counter clockwise or clockwise" will lengthen or shorten.

Anyways, left or right -- we just have to make sure that the length of the link is precise for everything to work right. Rarely do we need to make adjustments thereafter, unless for fine-tuning on the tow-in or tow out.

Name: IMG_6711.jpg
Views: 957

However, we prefer that there were NO holes at the middle of the link to make the adjustment. Holes can weaken the link, at that spot. The link Design of the UMG should work BEST for the Capra, IMHO.

Thank you for your interest and kind Remark. Please ENJOY!
