My understanding is that the VP SOA mount is compatible with all F9-based VP axles, portals included.

Axial Capra Upper/Lower Link Metal Rod-End won't mount on the Vanquish Portal Axles. If you can, Please let us know how. Thanks!

Quick DiY Mod that Works!

Yes we manage to Succesfully Relocate Top Quality Smart 3S 2200mAh 100C/200C Burst and a VANT 2S 4600mAh 100C/200Burst under the Driver Cockpit.

And we need Driver/Co-Driver & Access to Battery & ESC Power Switch, Right?

Cut into half as shown on last Picture.
Then we can Secure with the 2 screws on the Co-Pilot side, Permanently. And either use screw or Double side/Velcro om the Battery Pilot side.

Oh yeah, easy to take out Cockpit for cleaning or Motor ESC Maintenance via the Window. Cheers!

I'm very happy with the Kit Cockpit. And just wanted to make sure my 3S 2200 and 2s 4600 & ESC fits Perfect -- as there is not enough room given the larger footprint under the hood. I needed access for both Lipo pack and power switch - that's why the mod.

Siggy, so with the mods you've done... the battery is held in place by the interior? Looks really good, something I may well do myself TBH...

Yes, if your Going for a the SpeKtrum Smart 3S 2200mAh 100C/200C Burst. I did not use any Velcro or Straps. I just shove-it in-place.

Seriously and the pack Fits and stay Secure. Does not bind the servo horn of the DiG. Yes I have the dig connected.

Oh yeah Bttery will not fit on the Co-Pilot side, in-case you are Wondering. Then I powered LEDs and 2 Servo direct via RX. Took out Red wire of the ESC. 2S ThunderPower 4000mAh RX Pack under the Hood Battery Compartment with on/off switch.

Siggy I'm a bit confused here. I put revo ends on the Capra links and bolted them up fine. I think White Trash also said the Capra hollow balls fit between revo ends and the new Capra ends. Were you using plastic rod ends or some aftermarket metal rod ends?

Are you confirming that all we need are the following:

1. CURRIE PORTAL F9 SCX10-II REAR AXLE - 199
2. CURRIE PORTAL F9 SCX10-II FRONT AXLE - 299
3. 16 Traxxas Large Rod Ends w/ Hollow Balls 12 pcs For Revo #5347 - 18
4. SCX10-II CURRIE F9 SERVO MOUNT 34.99
5. CURRIE/SCX 8 DEGREE TITANIUM TIE ROD/DRAG LINK 21.99

Then all we need is to do is an Easy & Quick Swap?
