I honestly am quite pleased with the quality of Capra's transmission internal components, and how they integrated the dig, at low CG, plus the portal axles. Some may not agree with me -- with portal axles, the Capra can ba a very capable 2.2 Rock Crawler more than 1.9 Go Fast Rock Racer. I too have been moving back and forth between both ideas. Anyways, I am sincerely hoping that the Transmission Project, can help us enjoy our Capra as a 2.2 Competition Rock Crawler & 1.9 Rock Racing Buggy. 10 years ago the lack of experience, Modern Technology, and Resource would have made this endeavour impossible. Thanks for your kind Interest and Patience. My friend Arthur said only 20 in 6065. I told him, 7075. Anyways, it's done and half of it SOLD quickly. He promised he'll post mine TODAY.  Oh yeah, Someone asked about colour. I am NOT a huge fan of colours, Arthur is. And yeah, someone asked about Axles. The answer is Yes, please wait. I'll make sure it's worth the wait. No one asked about wheels. Wheel SSD and VP does great wheels. Someone asked if I'll do custom tires. That guy, must be joking. But SuperShafty does real nice ones, I heard.  And Yes, I will update with better pictures, with my nice ESC and Motor, hook-up the Dig, and tiny Servo install in my truck. Then get back to you guys with some honest feedback. |
