Very happy with the quality and fit. Bearings are snug without being tight. Perfect.

TAKE 2 Ordered online 9T 32Pitch by Robinsons Racing to TRY 1st hand for fit and Test Performance with the Vitavon Transmission with Dig. Will Update soon as I get it.

The Vitavon Transmission is designed to give Driers the opportunity to select from 9T - 14T 32 Pitch. A Great Fine-Tune especially for Rock Crawling with Brushless Motor Combo and/or 2.2 Tires. With my 17.5Turn Sensored Motor on 3S, I would like to check if a 32 Pitch - 9 Tooth will WORK better than the kit supplied 14T. YES or No, in terms of Low End Torque, Top End Speed, for 1.9 and 2.2 Tires, PLUS Temp of Motor, ESC, and Battery -- that's the Plan.

AGAIN, Sincerest Apologies for the Bad Stir in my earlier post.

Thanks for your Patience. To confirm, 32 Pitch 9T-14 TMotor Pinion NOT 48 for the Axial Capra. Cheer!

I am curious how the 9T fits, and works, as I'd like to hear down further (currently running an 11T). Although I haven't yet received the Vitavon transmission housing, it should help cool the motor (being aluminum, it'll sorta-kinda act like a heatsink, pulling heat from the motor), I have done temp readings on my goat, inside a heated house.

I'm currently running an 11T pinion, on a Castle"Slate" 2080kV, with a Mamba X, and 3S pack. I placed the Capra on a CI block, and ran the motor full-throttle for over 5 minutes...and, the hottest the motor ever got was slightly over 80°F. While the motor you're using is turning faster, thus generating more heat, with the cooling effect of the Vitavon housing, I'll estimate that your temp readings probably won't exceed 120-130°F, which is well below the "danger zone". Considering you'll be using that 9T, temps should be even lower. Will be awaiting your results.

This isn't necessarily how things work. When a motor is allowed to unload, it generally creates less heat. When it works harder at a lower gearing/rpm, that's when things get warm.

Both are true. Lower RPMs, for forced to "work harder", produced higher hear...but, higher RPMs, when there's no cooling, always produce higher temps. However, when cooling is applied, then, yes, higher RPMs can create lower temps...but that is also dependant on the efficiency of the cooling. I may still be less than a year back into RC, but one been "into" science (incl physics) the majority of my life.

2.2 on the Capra is NOT a Favourite of All.

BUT many @ FB did indicate the Love it! Well, I tried with the 2.2 Vanquish Methods and the 2.2 SSD Rock Racer, and with the VITAVON Weighted Brass Portal Cover -- installation was easy and Totally bind free - no need for Spacers.

And FWIW, we get Maximum steering (Left and Right) -- ZERO Bind of wheels on the lower link, as well. ENJOY

EQUIOMENT Installed:
2.2 SSD Rock Racer
2.2 PIT Bull Pock Beast II
Vitavon Brass portal Cover for the Front
NO Spacer or Any Modifications Required to WORK Flawless.

Go Ahead, Go 2.2 if that's what your Heart Honestly Desires!
