Mine fit like I'd expect precision parts to fit. Tight, but not too tight.

Exactly. They shouldn't be loose, but you shouldn't have to force them either. They should fit "just right"...and, mine did. Arthur & Siggy did an outstanding job with them. Now, I'm looking forward even more to building the machined tranny housing.

What you say is TRUE! If bearing is difficult to insert into the portal cover cavity
by hand, then there are tools we can use aside form a clamp.





(I had a clamp lying around so that's hat I used.). Please do not pound on the Bearing. If alignment is right, it will slide-in SURELY.

Production Size is very small implementing strict OEM Standards. We have done more complicated OEM Quality Standard Race Components for my favourite Models.-

I have installed a ton of bearings over the years, so I know what I'm doing. The fact that none of the 8 bearings in my portal covers went in without force tells me that QC is all over the place.

Yes. My same experience. Bearing needs to be mounted almost perfectly aligned. AWESOME you managed without the help of Tools, Please ENJOY!

I checked it out. Figuring a way to mount it using screws, instead of zip-ties, shouldn't be too difficult.
