Good to see a performance oriented view point raving about this. Making it tough to not build it before the weekend comes. I still need a servo and tire foams and motor.

Why have a rig that can't climb anything cool? If you want to build pretty junk that sucks to drive save the frustration and build static models.

I had a friend drive el chivo yesterday and he was surprised too. It could have used some larger tires for some areas but overall it works real well. I still need to swap in some high clearance rear links and swap them all to titanium.

I watched a Capra roll around this past saturday at a local scale event. He had the dig hooked up and i was really impressed with how smooth everything was. It really reminded me of the pre-MOA days watching the lines he was driving.

My daughter built heres saturday night and I just have to get the electronics in hers then do some dad changes. Cant wait to drive it

Not yet but they are a little ways out still. Gotta get the prints proofed and then on to the machine shop.

Is that just a CF rear ring or a full CF wheel? I don't know who else offers CF wheels now aside from DLux.

There are lots of carbon wheel manufacturers out there these days. Dlux wouldn't touch this rig, it's too scale for him.

I had debated on swapping tires with my C2 since day 1 and today was the day. Went out with a local to a trail area that was wet in spots and had lots of loose hill climbs and the km3s just needed a whole lot of wheel speed to keep moving. Not that I'm all that concerned with such things but for this rigs intended use larger lugs are called for. Insert krawlers in predator...

I finally took the time to put a set of predator compound hyrax together and had to try them on el chivo. The Dirty Harry's don't clear the upper edge of the portals without wider hexes which makes them too wide for class 3. They look mean though.

I put the hyrax on my current class 3 and put the gutted gold 2.2 klrs on CI 1" wheels so they are class 3 legal if I choose to do it. I will probably give it a go in the spring.

Pulled my receiver apart to waterproof it and found that I'd already beat myself to it.

While I was in the neighborhood I dropped a toggle switch in with a prewired harness to plug headlights into it too so now I have an easy choice if they're on or off. With the snow coming I forsee nighttime snow runs in my future.

I will not have a doll resting his hand on it pretending it's a shifter though.

Lights? Might as well add a cooler full of wine coolers too while you're at it.

It's a slow burn. First it's just a lookalike switch that toggles the lights, then suddenly you've got WWE wrestlers hacked in drinking scale Bud Lights from the scale cooler in the back.
