It could be the space shuttle, a buddy of mine was heavily involved with it. Picture a Ford I beam 4x4 front end mated with a Razor's rear suspension..... What is the max width and wb to comp it if they would let it in, 4 wheel steer?

Class 3 allows anything for wheelbase or width but the body cant be more than 1.25" from the inside sidewalls. Wheelbase is up to you.

So I could build a wide body per the dimension criteria (not the cage, or add nerf bars to the chassis), run AR60s and be legit?

There is a gate width minimum too that you could exceed if you went stupid

Short run with a few other goats, switched to 90mm shocks for this one and didn’t see much of an improvement, may switch back to the stock shocks after one more run.

Impatiently waiting for some brass portal boxes to help plant the front.

Amen. But no rush now, broke my front axle housing. So THAT's what I did to my goat today...

UPDATE:

Called Axial today (aka Horizon) and they have a new housing on the way to me au gratis. So that's $10 I didn't have to spend. Kudos.

Ah man that crack followed the chub right up. Tough break.

Was it a bad fall?

No fall at all. I was just climbing out of a small pit and the wheel grabbed under a ledge and "crack!". I honestly didn't think it would have been enough to break it.

That’s too bad. I wonder if we’ll see someone make an aftermarket multipiece housing anytime soon. A little worried that the effort to make all the separate pieces could delay that.

At $10 a pop, I may pick up a spare front housing to have on hand for a just in case.

Maybe drizzle some 2-part epoxy where that fracture occurred. Maybe lay a little fiber in it also. Or wait on the aftermarket to catch up.

Thankfully, the replacements, at only $10, are super cheap.

Spent yesterday painting this fuel cell and a couple others. Hit the straps and bolts with a chrome pen this morning before work and then put it back in to the back of the cage. Need to let the lid cure another day before it's screwed on as the paint seems a bit fresh still

I have a few TLR (aka Losi, which is also Horizon Hobby) vehicles, and one thing I've learned is that they have excellent CS. Every kit I've purchased has had a problem (thankfully, only a single problem pet kit)...whether it's a missing part, or a part where the screw hole wasn't formed deep enough, etc...and, in each instance, they've shipped the replacement very quickly, and at no charge. When I was trying to determine my first 2WD buggy, I had narrowed down my choices to 3. Ultimately, I decided on the TLR...and, a few Horizon Hobby vehicles later, you can understand why I continue to stick with them.

Made a interior side panel to stick my ESC and Rx to. I swapped motors and for the life of me couldn’t get the wires soldered to the new motor. Bought new solder and 2 kinds of flux. Snipped back at least an inch of motor lead each attempt and finally got some to stick this morning....with my original solder and flux.

Uber cheap MG servo. Set it up in 5 minutes or less. But I didn’t realize my RadioLink 3ch is a knob and not a button. Found middle and set the horn for freewheel, set 4wd endpoint, and then locked endpoint. The servo bracket is so flimsy it is it’s own servo saver. LOL.

Oh. I dug these out of a box of tires. Broke the old tire glue off and yanked the star cut foams. Stuffed them with some oversized foams for now and stuck them on these Revolvers. Love these wheels. Was considering another set of CI 1” wheels but will stick with these. Now to figure out what foam for a 4” carcass tire.

Today, I finally put the "finishing touches" on the interior, applied the 'flat clear' to the top of the Lexan, applied the interior decals, started installing the replacement driver & navigator, and finished the replacement steering "wheel". Unfortunately, due to a visit from an Inquisitor, I'm unable to share photos (at this point in time) of the interior.....so photos of just the steering "wheel" will have to do.
