I’ll start her off, and this wasn’t today, but this Sunday I took the Capra out with the local crew and ran into a few other fresh faced goats. It is interesting that they all performed quite differently, set up goes a long way apparently, but good times were had. |

I started painting the lexan panels. Maybe I'll stop being so lazy and actually get the electronics done so that I can take it out this weekend.

I cut the sticker and opened the box, got out all of the bags, and started placing orders for new wheels/tires/foams, ESC, servos (steering and dig), and a few other odds and ends I need. While waiting for parts, I hope to get started on the build soon. BTW Topher, you're wheeling pals have got some great great paint schemes going. Painting is my least favorite part about building. Do you know if the face on the yellow/black rig is paint or a decal (and what is it)? |

| Re: What’d you do with your goat today? I barely drove it. The wheels and tires are dirty because they came off of my SCX10. I played with it on the stone steps some and liked what I saw. I'll know better on Saturday what I think of it.

I’ve done something like that on my Bomber panels. Cut a vinyl decal and stuck it to the back side. Like doing stripes or scallops, but a more complex design. Was playing around with some optical designs on my computer yesterday. Don’t think I’d ever do it though. The long one would wrap around the back, too, but it ended needing to be 15.6” long. Too long for cheap lexan.

That’s a good looking goat! @brakeweight, I like that illusion design. Could be cool to do that with some sacred geometry too. |

Dug out some LEDs from the parts bin and got my headlights going. Pretty dim next to the lightbar, but it is what it is. |

I assembled everything that didn't need paint and the shocks. I'll do them while watching football today. Felt no binding or grinding everything went together we'll. Followed instructions to a D...as in the grade I give the manual. Im not sure everyone will catch the details it lacks causing some frustration. Also the gearing has me in a bit of confusion regarding motor selection. Im on the fence about what this truck is. I like the brushless in my wraith and bomber but is that what I want from this as I also enjoy the torquemaster brushed in some other rigs...

Went out this morning to start breaking in the KLR/M’s. Took a couple last pics with them all clean. The 3 stage foams seemed soft at first but the voodoo sidewalls are considerably stronger than other tires I’ve ran. They held up well on the side hill. I’m still not getting enough drag break out of the 1080 and reedy five slot, thinking it’s time for a brushless combo. Thanks man. We’re all out here in Las Vegas. |

That’s odd. What Tx are you using? My RadioLink also has a drag option in the Tx. Those tires look good on there.

I decided that 6mm limiting spacers in the front and 3mm in the rear shocks had me dragging (and getting stuck) too often. I'm trying no preload, firm(er) springs with no spacers in the rear and 3mm spacers with soft springs in the front. It still drags more than I like, so today I threw a bend in the rear lower links to help alleviate a little more dragging. There may be bigger (than 4.75") tires in this car's future. My goal is to get this thing to surpass my dialed in Wraith... without just turning it into my Wraith. It's gonna need more weight on the nose and a tad more belly clearance, maybe stretch the wheelbase a smidge, and I think it should be close. I did at least throw some paint on it. I'm surprised I haven't seen more paint jobs accentuating the goat head shape in the hood, but I embraced it! |

Yes it does. I was wondering how complete the "Axial UTB cage set complete" (AXI231006) really is since there's no picture for the part yet? Let us know when you get it.
