Just need to keep them from coming loose and/or getting caught on anything. I don't get too caught up in perfection if you couldn't tell.

About as clean as I could get it. The stray red wire is my unmounted switch...

Why you run an external bec?

Teclas 10-14-2019 12:18 AM

Re: Let’s see the wiring masterpiece

Running 7.4V to the steering servo and have the micro dig servo at 6V through the esc's onboard bec.

Re: Let’s see the wiring masterpiece

It's not finished, but here's what I have so far:
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7996522fde.jpg
Headlight & servo wiring. The two 'tubes' that you see on the sides of the battery compartment contain the two antenna. I tried to glue the driver side tube in place, using CA glue, but it didn't hold, so need to come up with an alternate idea.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a0f04b7adc.jpg
Navigator side, where the Rx is installed. The red/black wire going straight up is the power switch, which can't be placed where it will be going...at least not yet. I also replaced the stock senator wire with a much shorter one (approx 1/3 the length), as the motor & ESC are so close to each other.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f7aeb15258.jpg
Driver side, where the two CPS-1 units, for remotely controlling the headlights, and lightbar, are installed on the electronics tray. As you can see, I had no choice but to "give in", and installed the ESC in front of the fuel cell. I used a pull-tie (I usually use these in building computers) to "bind" the excess lighting working together, and to hold it against the inside of the cage (driver's 'door').

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cd608b2f03.jpgOverhead shot showing the ESC/motor wires, as well as the DIG servo wires, being routed around the transmission from the front side. You can also see how/where I extended the battery leads from the ESC, using ProTek EZ Solder Sleeves (AMain). Here's a closer look at them:

I don't have my kit yet, but my plan was to run a direct power servo from my 3s packs at 11.1 to isolate the dig servo and just power it off the Rx at 6v.

Have you fitted the transmission/motor up in there yet? Does all of that fit?

Yep, did many test fits before the location of everything was finalized, fits nicely, may goal was to get the Mamba down low up front and counter some motor weight. It took a few weeks just working on it a few times a week after work, but I am happy to start wrapping up the build now that all of the wiring is finished.

Nice electronics placement!"thumbsup"

I like the carbon fiber inner panels for mounting the electronics. Great idea!
