Just ran it today! I will put a video up for Thursday.

Did you add the completed photos after my initial comment? I don't remember seeing them before...

Anyway, it looks great! I really like the goat that you did on the side panels. Nice work!

What do you think of it after running? It's an impressive rig.

How's your dig working? Does it get stuck and refuse to shift like mine does? Notice any binding in the transmission during the build?

I just added the last step today.

So here's the thing. I put my dig on the Flysky GT5 ch6 analog switch. I think it's much easier than trying to perfect the ch4 3-position. Set the end-points at 4wd, and locked rear. Somewhere in between will be your freewheel. It actually doesn't work out too bad with the analog dial.

This thing deserves the name goat. I don't have any upgrades yet, and it was climbing stuff with ease. Once my front brass weights get in, things will pretty much be cake. If I dial in the suspension height, it'll probably get even more ridiculous. It was doing so well, that my 7yr old was driving it up things that take more effort from me with regular trail trucks.

I already want to lower the Capra, and see if I can add overdrive to it.

Oh nice! That turned out great! I wondered were you would have found a decal like that! That is even better that it is hand cut and painted.

I just went back and checked out all the pics of it you just added. They all look great!

Looking forward to watching the video!

OK good. I thought I was going crazier than I already am!

Isn't that a pain to dial in the dig every time you move the knob though?

It definitely deserves the name. It crawls so well. I added a little weight up front in the form of SSD brake discs, but I forget if I did OD.

I set my RadioLink up with endpoints on the dig like this. All the way one way is 4wd, all the way the other is dig. Somewhere in the middle it freewheels. Fairly simple actually.

Your Capra is my personal fave, the combo of the goat logo, the racing numbers, and the color scheme... perfect!

(the wheels really suit it as well)

Awesome. I appreciate it. I’ve been vacillating back and forth on it. Thought about swapping the AXE system in to the TRX and taking the Castle Mamba / 1800kv Revolver out of it and using that in the Capra. I’ll be curious to get your impressions on the AXE system.

I did watch Exocaged RC’s review on YouTube. He ran on both 2s and 3s with stock gearing. It looked kinda twitchy/jumpy to me on start up. I’m sure this is owing mostly to the stock gearing. In anticipation of that, I have already ordered a hardened 11t pinion.

That makes more sense that the two stops on the knob would be locked and unlocked. I think most of my issues come from the fact that the dig servo is made of rubber and I can't get consistent engagement.

I really need to take mine out. Badly. It’s been built for over a month and never seen a rock...or grass...or unfiltered sunshine.

What SS parts did you get? I almost caved in on the axles, but I didn't think they were work it since the finish machining didn't look great. I'm still interested in their link riser though.
