What’s everyone’s tire choice

I would like to see what everyone has decided on for tires since the kit doesn’t come with any. I have 1.9 PitBull rockbeast xor’s. Haven’t really got out to run my truck yet to see how they do, hopefully Wednesday if the weather holds out here.

I started with Hyrax in Predator compound - works well overall and on smoother rock surfaces like granite, but they are a little soft for grabbing onto edges in course rock as the knobs tend to fold. Playing with Proline Boggers (G now - I like the more pronounced and solid lugs. I have them mounted on 2.2 wheels with stock foams plus CI tuning disk on the inner sidewalls.

Pro-line BFG Krawlers have been my go to, so I'm going to try those first. I do have a set of Pitbull RockBeast XL's that I want to try on it though.

Here in the northwest and west it’s pretty tough to beat BFG Krawler G8 and Krawler predator. Plus they look almost identical to 1 to 1 Krawler as they break in, way cool. I won’t bore you with the very long list of tires and foam combinations I’ve ran. But it’s almost embarrassing the $ spent. Guys run the Hyrax, but I refuse, Ugly and not a manufactured tire.

I agree. I have a set of Hyrax, and they work ok, but the Krawlers work better for me where I'm at.

I had an extra set of Hyrax that needed a home, so I decided to throw them on the Capra! These work great for me on the slick mossy/muddy rocks in my area!

I prefer Hyrax and Rock Beasts for where I'm at. The open tread is required for the East Coast terrain. Proline TSL's are great as well.

Some broken in BFG Krawlers did great on the Capra, but those were temporary till I got some KLR/M’s. Not many runs on this tire yet but I am not disappointed.

On granite proline hyrax in g8 for the summers works well. When it's colder or wet I like the rockbeast xor.

I've got a set of Hyrax in predator on mine, but started with the Krawlers first. I can't really decide which works better where I crawl, but I feel like the Krawlers are a slightly slimmer tire width wise which looks better on my Enduro.

I have always been a PitBull fan. I have a set of the XOR that I cut and shut and shaved. I took out 3/8 of an inch right out of the center of the tread. I also run cut tread Rockbeasts. On my scale I run Rockbeasts also. I run CI 2 stage in all my tires.
