I see 5 Subaru's, but I couldn't tell you one model name from the next.

4 Forester's is correct!
5 Subaru's, total..
The 5th is. 99 RS coupe that's 06 WRX swapped.. (we never got a WRX till 02 or a STI till 04)..

I pulled the crap turbo motor and turbo, out of my dad's(200k) and replaced with a younger turbo and motor. (130k).

No sir! In the garage, wrenching on Subaru's!
Just got done with some RS upgrades..

Which includes:
Catless downpipe and up-pipe

Equal length header's

FP Blue, turbo

APS 70mm CAI

PTP turbo Blanket

AEM map sensor (for higher boost) and a intake air temp sensor(for speed density tuning)

All together

And a European domestic market, gauge cluster.. 7k rpm redline and 160mph speed.. so I can actually see how fast I'm going, beyond halfway through 4th gear!

A little graph..

That RS is awesome, 394hp in a subaru, that thing must scream. Is it still street legal? How is rest of the drivetrain handling that much power, any breakages?

Thank you sir!
Well, it's a fun little car!
Moves pretty good.. Still feels a little on the slow side..

It's on a 5 speed manual, so the tuner has the power eased into, a little more then I want. Trying to keep the stock motor and 5 speed, in one piece.

My STI swapped Forester, in the other hand.. It's pretty Nasty!
I don't know if it's the extra 25whp or 35wtq or just the fact that I can just whoop it's ass, but it Moves!!! And feels relentless, doing it!

No broken parts on either.. ordered a built motor today, for the RS.. So it will get turned up a little bit, after the break in period. Going to see if I can't max out the clutch or the glass 5mt.. lol..
Maybe lock the center diff and pull the front axle's, for some RWD fun!

Then the Forester is getting the motor refreshed and I'm going to put the rotated kit and meth kit.. 700whp. Should be fun!
Next winters project!

Both are my daily driver's and will stay daily driven..

LOL. I知 pushing the same amount of boost through a VW 1.8t and it is not near to those numbers at all. W/M made a noticeable difference in the summer months for me. When I got it in 2005 there was a WRX on the lot and it was a few $thousand more. Still wish I had gotten it vs the euro but ....

That Forester though

Bigger Turbah!!!!!!
Yeah, I've drove other car's but the Subaru's are the end for me!
Meth is the easiest, healthiest route, for the motor.
I have fmic kits for both cars but why? When the W/M kit does So much!

Thanks! I love my FXT's!
Just swapped a motor and a turbo Baja trans in this, over the past couple days.

Trying to get it back to it's former glory!

Auto with(all from a turbo Baja) sport shift, VTD center diff, TCU and steering column mounted paddle shifters(from a 08 LGT)..

My winter beater project. 09 FXT with a 67k STI block, heads with a valve job, STI VF turbo, 3" TBE, Perrin tmic, EL header's, and tuned.. 317whp 336wtq

Sold it to a co-worker, that fell in love with it..

Dude not only are you a skilled 1/10 crawler builder but a skilled 1:1 Subaru builder. How much did you lower that fxt? Seriously the '09 is the beater, it is crazy. How did you learn so much about subarus? Probably should get back to crawlers so that this tread doesn't get moved to chitchat or 1:1, Any word on the crawler build?

This weekend was ECC.. So I went and crawled!
BTF ran this rig. It did well and looked good doing it.
I can't speak for the driver, tho!

Now that the Unstuck got it's place at the top of the podium.. The pneuma, shall be next!
I'll put some time into it, before the next comp, whatever it may be.. Supershafty event, in October?

Thank you sir! I just moved to bigger wrench's! All the same concept. (I think) lol..

The STI Forester is 1.5-2" lower? I'd have to measure my dad's stock height FXT, to know.

Lol.. The 09 FXT was going to be the winter beater, because I estimated I woulda had 2,500$ into it, all said and done.. Well.. that didn't happen and it was too nice to beat on, with any more into than that..

So.. almost 4yrs ago, I bought my silver 05 FXT, auto..
Then I was paying a mechanic to work on it. (Transmission swap, built motor install, etc).. I didn't like something that was done and my subie guru says, "get the 12mm socket and change it".. That was about 2スyrs ago...
So I've only been wrenching since then..(Anything more than a oil change, brake job, front axle replacement, or rotating tires)..
Now I just pull it in the garage and break em down and rebuild the way I want.
