| 3008 DKR maxi slash 4x4
Hi to all, this is my first post, and would share my last project.....a Dakar Peugeot 3008 Maxi based on slash. Starting from the first.....3008 dkr model found on the net. i've modified overall lenght and windth to fit slask wheelbase.....so sliced in 4 parts and added reinforced edge to bolt parts togheter so started printing job on prusa slicer get the first parts printed at same time begins interiors work in 3d studio and printed drivers and cockpit so start the fitting work on the slash basically i've redesigned the front shock tower to better clear the body nose and get the correct ride height printed the last part and sprayed with surface primer meanwhile disigned the declas and sent the file lo a pro printer service in Verona i've completely redesigned the body mount , i really hate clips so i've build a very strong mag holder using 32mm neomidium discs. So ........today i start painting work......so hard to do from the outside becouse you nedd to re-masks all the time the painted parts :-( but i'me quite satisfied now i'm working on the small bits (air scoops lens etc...) and on the glass parts (i'm planning to do them in vaacum forming....) hope u like it...... stay tuned Cristian https://yokomo-fan.blogspot.com/ |
