Default Capra+Bronco Body= Bronco Truggy

ok so here's my thought process, im going to get a TRX4 bronco body and chop the back end to let the rear cage of the capra stick out, too make a Bronco truggy.

The TRX-4 Bronco body is huge and it will swallow the Capra. Just making sure you are aware of that.

This. I wish I still had my Bronco so that I could show you a picture of them side by side.

If you like that era of Fords, but intend to hack off the back anyway, why not just start with a cab? This would still be huge, but it's cheap, so you wouldn't feel so bad hacking it up! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rc-Crawler-...XoKaCPxqP4ucYw

Capra is 3/8" wider on the track and 1/4" longer on the w/b, comparing mfg's specs. Some serious standoffs would be needed to mount the body, along with shorter links somewhere. If I recall, you (Jato) still have the Bronco, right? With a little creativity, could it happen? I just can't see hacking the TRX body, for what that is worth, they are pretty thin because of the long draw, so finishing it off would align with Jato's insight/comment.

Big difference here is that the Bronco body is not only huge in general, but it is more importantly also so wide that it practically covers all of the extra-wide Canyon Trail tires when viewed from above.

The Capra viewed from above doesn't even hide the axle housings, much less ANY of the tires.

The TRX-4 body is going to look mighty peculiar with a Capra back half poking out - like a tadpole.

Yep, I still have my Bronco body. I'm too lazy to dig it out and set it on the Capra for photos.
