|  Anyone put a capra skid on scx10 chassis?
Curious if anyone has done this yet. I want put capra axles and skid on scx10 chassis. Measurement seems to be pretty close

I'm not sure if anyone has done the skid yet. Seems like it would involve a good bit of cutting and re-working with the boat side type design of it. I've definitely seen Capra axles on Chassis Rails. I believe there is a build right here in the Capra threads as a matter of fact.

I’ll take a look! The capra skid can be used on its own without screwing it to the boat skid plates

Yes, it can be done. You'll need to cut part of the SCX chassis rails to allow it to fit. It's also wider and will force the chassis to spread. My FJ40 based rig has swapped in Capra running gear. I also swapped in a SCX trans, axles, etc into my kids Capra chassis. Just needed to make some mounting brackets. |

Also, if you didn't want to go wider with the skid Salinas Design Concepts 3D prints a normal width scx10 skid but with the capra style lower link mounts. And you can get different mounting options for your skid as well. https://salinasdesignconcepts.com/3d...tes-p142438518 |
