Capra BEC help Sorry for the noob question but I’m not the best with wiring... so far I have upgraded the motor and the esc and now I’m looking for more power to my steering servo before I upgrade that as well. I have read about a bunch of different ways to go about wiring in a bec but to make things simple can I just plug directly into the bind port on the receiver since this is the only open port I have? Or is it better to wire the bec to the power and ground on the servo and still run the original signal wire to the receiver? In my mind the 2nd option is better but I’m still pretty new to this. Thank you and sorry for the noob question |
Re: Capra BEC help I personally run the Holmes Hobby bypass “y” for external bec. This way only my steering servo gets power from the external bec and my receiver and dig servo are powered by the esc’s bec. Sorry if this is confusing, but I don’t know how to explain it simpler. |

Re: Capra BEC help I just run a high voltage micro Torq CL0508. And a high voltage steering servo Reefs422, set my esc bec to 7.4v and done. |

Thanks for the info! FWIW, I found out from HH that the stock RTR servo and the LED lights on the Capra can also handle 7.2 volts so I adjusted my 1080 yesterday and everything seems to work just fine at that setting. Thanks again......."thumbsup" |
