Default Krazed Builds fault, build

I've been more old school, with my trucks, for a long time...
Scx/ax axles, TF2, and AR60..

So this is all new to me!

Robbob spoke highly of this truck and is making parts for it, so I snagged one..

How it begun..

And we build...

Then we do shocks.. with Green slime! I'll save the triple o-ring mod, for a later date..

Transmission and cage

Parts bins, for electronics.. hmm, what to use.. Think think think...
HH 13t custom.. HH BR mini and a bec, smashed.. Hitec 7950..

On the table

Ground clearance of the 2.2 Sexo, in comparison to 1.9 Capra..

Parts bin 2.2 Methods, CI single stage closed cell foams, and 1.9 Rock Beasts

14t pinion is a little much, with the HH 13t and 4s! I like it though!!! It fits with the rest of my scale rigs. Beautiful crawling characteristics and Awesome wheel speed!

Good to see I'm not the only one that makes a mess with the Green Slime!

Good looking truck. I typically don't like 1.9's stretch onto 2.2 wheels, but they look great here.

Green slime is a must! GS and 3 o-rings, in all my plastic SCX comp shocks and they all hold oil! Lol..

I've had them tires stretched in them wheels for Year's! Never used em and I doubt they would ever be good for anything 1.9 wheels.. lol..

I switched that setup, for a set of beat 1.9 rock beasts, that I cut-n-shut to 2.2's.. (I'll get a pic tomorrow)

Got out with the Capra, for a bit, on Sunday..
Pretty impressed with it, at my dad's shale pit, in the rain..

2.2, 1.9 cut-n-shut RB's

Perfect tires for wet shale!

I wasn't a fan of the tall height.. So I removed the spring cups.. Huge performance Help!

Tuesday morning around 3:15a.m, I found this in my mail box, when I got home..

are you done yet

Enduro springs work mint for lowering the ride height from stock Axial ..... grab the Enduro .95 and .71 springs and they fit the red spring cups so they dont fall off while running.

They are the same diameter but shorter springs. Ive got the white .95 ones on Isabels truck and noticed a nice difference. Im going with the green .71 on mine.

This all started as stock links, got built, and then I needed a drag link...

Out came the bag of ti links, from years of chassis changes and builds..
I got a drag link and a tie rod(probably not the end result, but a good beginning)

Rear links.. didn't feel like I needed much for clearance..

Straight fronts..

And some Crazed Builds portal cover replacements..

Song with the optional hanger weights (for when I make it that direction..)

That's a good question! I have no idea, yet! Lol..
Stock, CCC, or a SCX... Is what I have on hand.. I haven't given the SCX trans a shot in the skid yet. That's today's project...

I want to get this thing on the rocks!

I have also considered the Dlux Ham or Cheez trans..
Not sure the cheez trans would work? Rotating the front axle backwards, isn't as easy as flipping the ring gear.

Ok.. SCX trans, it is!
While the stock Capra trans would work fine, it's a Beast!
The CCC trans would of needed to be spaced up 6mm off the skid, to work.
Which made the weight sit higher than the scx trans..

That clearance!

Mounting..

Powah!!!

Getting it to the axles.. Old trustee!(well worn, so it doesn't hang up on the rocks)

New rear..(old stock)

Moving properly, along...
I cut the tray and did some Dremeling..

Then cut some steering stops..

Will have to shave the arms, if I feel more steering is needed..

Battery tray.. the old servo mount.. just a temporary item, in that location..

Electronics.. all White-trashy like..

Let's go find some rocks!!!
