Default SCX10.3 Rear Portal Housing swap possible?

I was looking at the Rear Portal Axle on the SCX10.3 and was curious if anyone knows if they could be swapped out with the stock rear portal on the Capra.
I would like the benefit of running my links up top the axle vs how the capra has it set up.

Don't quote me on this...but, if I recall correctly, the Capra & SCX10.3 use the same axles.

They don't. Width and link placement are entirely different.

Supershafty.com has an aluminum rear link relocator for $22. It bolts in solid to the axle where the old links attached. Sounds like this could work for you.

I purchased this one already and it will work fine. I was just hoping I could swap axles.

In case you are still wondering.... I put an SCX10 iii axle in my Capra based comp rig. Bolted right in. It changes the position of the top mount, which what I wanted also. It will also allow narrower track width as it is narrower than the Capra. All the gears are the same but you will need the SCX10iii axles, they are shorter. You will also need the axle case diff cover. Odd it doesn't come with the housing. Took me longer to locate the cover than anything else. I finally ordered one aftermarket. Good luck
