Default The "Spider" build

After driving a friends capra i was hooked. So i did some trading and got the kit. Im calling this one the spider because there were a few things i really didnt care for, like the trans, hi cog. So im swapping the trans for a built 3 gear trans and a hurtz dig in the future. As for the suspension im going with Trx4 shocks for now. The other future mod is the team garage hack 24% OD portal gears. For the electronics im going with the mamba X, motor 1800 v1 revolver, radio fly sky gt5. Thanks for looking

Got more done. I think the trx4 shocks are going to do great, im using the white springs up front oranges rear. I forgot to mention im using Ucfabs skid plate, its really nice. I just need to rebuild the shocks and use the white spacer in between the xrings. Next is laying out the electronics. Thanks for looking.

Thanks dude. One thing ive noticed wehen using shorter shocks is that it screws up your pinion angle. Im hopping i can shorten the top links so that the pinion has a similar angle as the links or as close as i can.

Thanks dude. I kinda fixed the front pinion angle, i put the upper link in the lower hole. It could still use a slightly shorter link or i mite lengthen lower link, we will see. So far im loving this thing, even with the tight spaces. It really is fun figuring out the setup for both suspension and electronics. Thanks again for looking. One more thing when using the 90mm shocks the rear drive shaft touches the lower brace, most likely because of the 3 gear trans

I got the OD gears in and i went with barn dogs metal panels. I plan to paint the panels so they will show wear and tear. Not sure on color but im thinking olive drab self etching primer with 13 on the doors and roof. Maybe even splatter 3 or 4 color cammo. Thanks for looking
