| Dig Servo?
The dig servo on my RTR Capra just died, I've been using a different radio and had the end points adjusted properly so there was no humming. When I plugged in a pack today the servo would not work and smells of hot plastic. Do I need a special servo or will any good micro servo work?

I think there are a variety out there that work. I have the Reefs Micro 99 and it works perfectly. Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk |

Instead of the Thiefsrc servo get the original https://www.agf-rc.com/agfrc-digital...-p1671217.html |

I've been using the replacement Spekrum servo for a while and wanted something stronger so the dig will engage and disengage easier. I knew I had a slightly larger Blue Bird BMS-390DMH servo with 75oz of torque versus the stock 42.8oz so I decided to try it out. With the servo being larger/taller I 3D printed a new mount and ended up using a Kimbrough servo saver to fit the larger spline. With the taller servo the stock shifting arm post was too short and wouldn't stay in the loop on the dig shaft. A 5mm aluminum standoff was slightly too large so I put it in a drill and used sandpaper to turn it down to 4.4mm in diameter to match the stock post. Everything fits nicely and the new servo is a big improvement over the SX107. |

I was going to mention that if you plan to get it wet, to make sure the replacement servo is waterproof but the specs on the stock SX107 don't mention it being waterproof so go figure. I'm guessing it is but not listed in the specs. ?????

Bolted right up (I used the SSD RC mounts) with on of the servo included horns. I had to open up the hole for the screw but fit fine otherwise. Works really well no issues. | |

Had a issue with the dig on my Capra. I think I got it fixed. The steering servo cable was stopping the rod pushing in to engage dig. I had it upside down, and it was working proper. Pulled the side panel off moved the cable, and poof! Its working properly now. My SCX 10lll's dig works fine out of the box. Now both are rocking.
