NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra Here is the latest from Axial https://www.axialadventure.com/produ.../AXI01002.html Who is jumping into the world of 1/18th? The Traxxas 1/18 TRX4 hype has piqued my interest <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/JFZqaxQRikU" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

axles for smaller rigs maybe ? |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra I like the looks of these smaller 1/18 scale. Looks like just the right size to have some fun indoor or outdoor! I will be getting the TRX-4 1/18 the day it hits my LHS and I may have to get this new Axial when it is released. Not sure if I'm all in for the Capra body, but I think if I get one, I'll find a different body to put on it. I wonder if them cheap Walmart remote control rigs have a similar sized body that can be used on this new Axial???!!?? |

1/18 has my interest. I like the idea of smaller, but find 1/24 a bit on the wee side, both to work on and in performance |

Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra This does look interesting. Portal axles out of the box definitely sets it apart. A Holmes Hobbies Revolver 380 might be a cool motor option to stuff in there. |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra No oil filled shocks. Oh, Axial.....you were so close! LOL |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra Consider me interested. |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra I second that motion Goos3. I like the fox one better |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra This will probably be a pick up 1 year after release for me. |

Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra Okay color me interested. Might have to look into this for my daughter. An SCX24 only gets her so far... |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra This is interesting. If I buy one, first thing I’ll do is remove the driver and passenger for better cog. |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra Was hoping this was more Losi MRC axle width but all they did was shave 30mm of width from the axles... man its a pain trying to find axles that don't need chopping after the MRC an the Temper Gen1 were discontinued I still have 2 more suzuki builds that need smaller axles (not spending 80 hours reprinting these things!) |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra So I ended up buying one of these things. It's cute but it needs something. Either 4 wheel steer, a dig, something. I'm thinking about mocking up some straight axles and getting rid of the portals. The little truck is so high and top heavy. Finding small tires that mate well with the size is a pain. I've got some PB RB's in my shopping cart but not sure I want to invest $75 in tires for a "uni-tasker" |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra This thing Piqued my interest because of what Dlux Fab has in the works for these (shocks, knuckle weights and a new mini chassis) : https://dluxfab.ecwid.com/Mini-Capra...ial-c141961034 |
Re: NEW:Axial 1/18 Capra Finally they have been released in the UK, so I’ve ordered the Fox version and a set of Boom Racing Probuild beadlocks and Rock Beast tyres |
