Default WTF is the deal with the capacitor on the dig servo?

It's just dangling around inside like a big ole dingleberry.
Surprised it isn't secured a little better, but what's its purpose?

Something related to the servo's endpoints?
The other day browsing through Capra threads I saw something about adjusting EPs.

Now that’s disturbing! Probably about as useful as one too!

it helps prevent brownouts

they used to hide them inside the reciver box but i guess they just gave up on hiding them

its a cheap way around a bec the 2 servos draw more power than the esc can provide the cap stores extra power and releses it when its needed

they only give you a few extra seconds of power but usualy thats enuff but you can still smoke your electronics so replacing the cap with a external bec is a good upgrade

The whole wiring layout is shit, all the servo extensions, the cap Y. I'm replacing the radio anyway, I'm thinking I'll mount ESC/Rec. on the backside of the "firewall".

Not sure why that's in there but has perfect space for mounting gear and a crossbar for cable management. And is more centralized.

I'm curious if anyone else has but don't feel like looking lol
This thing won't be seeing water anyway so not worried about the minor IP rating the fuel cell offered.
