Looks awsome. A couple questions thought- What links and shocks are you using. Was it a pretty easy hook up

Thanks guys. Shocks are Xr10, but with shorter rod ends on the bottom of the fronts and longer on the rear. Front uppers are the only links i didnt have to make, but another mix match of rod ends to get the length right.

So what'd you do to maintain the 60/40 split? What links did you use? That's the issue that keeps popping up on the FB II conversions. I'm also interested to see how you mount your battery and electronics. Cheers Doc

I kinda got lucky with the 60/40. I stretched the ridge to 13.5" wb the first week i had it. ![]() ![]() Basically took the lowers from that setup and reused them. Made uppers to get the pinion angle where i wanted it. Took some axial spare links and swapped around rod ends to get the front uppers, then made lowers to correct the pinion. Like i said though, got lucky and it worked out perfect on my first attempt. Flexes better than before, and more ground clearance. Mind you, it is an inch shorter.

Nice, I'm too much of a noob to work out those technical issues. I've contacted a member who does custom fabrication work. That's awesome how your Ridgecrest looks and handled. So you would highly recommend the FB II? Thanks again! cheers, Doc

I love the bodiless look, so i highly recommend the Fastback II. Any aftermarket chassis will be an improvement, stock flexes way to much, and not enough adjustability for me.

Are you still running this bodiless and have you had any issues with drive shaft clearance

Havent ran it much, but the driveshafts clear fine. Little close on the rear, but clears. But im running a wraith tranny with a dig unit. And already using the longest driveshafts that came with my wraith kit. Dont think you could stretch it this long with an AX tranny without using a crawler innovations extended output.

so with stretching this to 13.5 wheel base, what did the lower links end up measuring?

thanks, I'll be watching for the post. Cool build. mine is sitting on the workbench waiting on curved rod ends from rc4wd and titanium links from vanquish (as soon as I order them). I already ordered the rod ends. I know the chassis was made for a 12" wheel base but I'm like you, in that I want it extended out a touch.

Best i can measure with them on the rig, rear lowers are 5.5" and uppers are 5.25". Front lowers are 4" and uppers are about 3-5/8". Those are all from c-c of the rodends.
