Thanxs...the SS screws/bolts are from various RC Screwz and Team KNK hardware kits.

Thanks...didn't know they existed. Guess the RR10 is too new, as neither company offers kits for it. Maybe I'll be safe ordering Wraith kit.

When you say it isn't the best crawler, is that in comparison to your trailing arm wraith? What do you find is the difference between the two?

Yes, I am comparing it to my DMG TA Wraith. It's tough to pinpoint what makes the Wraith better. It may be the weight distribution, CoG, wheelbase suspension geometry, etc...I honestly don't know for sure why. I've spent three years tuning the Wraith and only two crawling sessions with the Bomber so far and I will continue to tune it. But with that being said, I want this Bomber to be more of bouncer rig with good crawling abilities, whereas my Wraith is almost pure crawling. Although, the Bomber did conquer some incredible rock crawls today without the aid of wheel speed.

Tonite I replaced the MMP and BEC with brand new components to hopefully get rid of the stuttering I am experiencing. I also replaced the rear upper links with longer straight titanium links so that I could use the Revo link ends on one side (vice Jato) and the Jato link ends on the frame mounted side could be screwed further in. I will likely get some Vanquish Yeti rear upper Ti links so I can use Revo link ends on both sides. I also dialed in some anti-squat by moving the upper rear links to the lowest mount point. This will hopefully help with getting the rear planted (less squat) resulting in better bouncing performance. (Theoretically lol!!!!)

I've seen those upper links so many times but few days I checked on vanquish site and they are not there anymore. On RPP site they show them but of course out of stock. Not sure why they took it off there site. Let me know if you can find them because I'm looking for them as well.

If they are not available, I am happy with the straight upper links that I just put on....not to mention the real Bomber uses straight links too!!!

Yahoo...just did some backyard rock crawling to test the new MMP and BEC...the sputtering is gone! Not sure if it was the MMP, the connections or the BEC that was at fault.

Edit...after some bench testing and re-soldering, I believe the BEC was at fault. When I wiggled the three wires that are connected to the BEC circuit board, the bench testing servo would twitch as well. I will have to order up a spare BEC and retry the test. I would much rather spend $25.00 on a new BEC than $$$ for a new MMP!

Here's the video of our run. The climb at the 7 minute mark was very stressful, because over the side of the cliff it was a sheer rocky drop of about 125 feet. At some points you can see and hear the sputtering I was talking about, which thankfully is now cured!

Thanxs nostopinLucR for the great video.

Cool vid! Looks like the Swampers were working a little bit better in that terrain.

The Swampers XLs are an amazing tire on the rocks and the dirt...I have a new set on my Wroncho Bug, unfortunately they don't look appropriate on my Bomber.

Excellent video. Glad you figured out your sputtering problem. Chasing issues like that can be frustrating. Maybe you could try cutting some side lugs from those Flat irons? The traction advantage on the TSLs was pretty significant. When I ran my Wilpeaks, my friends were running cut Voodoo U4s and TSL non XLs. It's a great way to compare when all three almost identical rigs are running the same tire. My friend with the TSLs had an easier time everywhere. I know you said you don't like th looks of the TSL on your bomber. What about throwing on the XORs? I've got some Flat Irons on the way myself but they'll be going on my go fast bomber build (Qwiksilver) and I may have to put the TSL XLs back on the crawler build (F-Bomber) simply for the performance of them.

Thanxs SCREAMER. The thing is, I like how I need to put down the horsepower in some situations, that's the whole reason for my build; not to be a perfect slow crawler, I have those already!

Well said. Use it for it's designed purpose. Hall arse from one spot to the rocks, climb a little, pin it when you need it and haul arse to the next set of Rocks. Rinse and repeat.

Not being a debby go downer but Soo many comments like "it doesn't crawl like my Wraith" and " it hangs up everywhere unlike my Wraith" Going out on a limb but Maybe just maybe because it isn't a Wraith.

Also, really liked your vid. Wish more RR10 owners would share. You Maslin and forget the other one at the 1/10 track but definitely need more.

Thank you. I take great pride in my rigs and their performance. There's not much left to do other than the rear sway bar and perhaps some different wheels. Even though it has a great motor already, I do want to try out a HH Puller Pro one day.

Now with that being said, there will always be something to do, my Wraith hasn't stopped changing for three years!
