Default CFM drops a Bomb: Bomber Fab build and upgrades

So pumped about the newest rig to hit the trails.
Here I will post updates about our shop truck as well as the products we offer for the Bomber.
Out of box this is the best truck to date from Axial. If I didn't already have big upgrades sitting here waiting I would have no doubt put this truck straight into service.
That said, I did not and wanted to get to know the rig a little better so I tore it down.
Here's the parts break down and will update if things change:
RTR Bomber
Tekin Rx8
Tekin Pro4HD 2500kv
3s lipo 1300mah
Hitec 5645
CFM aluminum panels
Vp Currie rear sway bar
Vp Raw machine finish V2 housings dressed out with VP Raw upgrades
Vp vvds
Axial 38/13 HD gear set
Axial 43/13 HD gear set
FI spools
Fast Eddy bearings
CFM fabricated trailing arms
CFM rear sway bar link
CFM aluminum hex bent front uppers
CFM aluminum hex front lower links
CFM aluminum hex straight rear uppers
Raw Machine finish Method 105 bead locks
CFM 1" True cans
BFG Krawler R35
CI Deuces Wild foams
Locked Up RC .185 SLW rear hubs
Vp SLW .225 front hubs
BPC rear limit straps

Axial chose to use set screws to attach the shocks to the chassis which isn't a bad thing but I prefer a normal BHCS and also drilled out the leading hole to make assembly and service less of a pain.
I also did not use the Bomber axle mount for the lower links so I mounted my Currie sway bar in back to keep geometry good on the links. I had to drill out the chassis mounts to accept the larger diameter bar and modify the brass bushings a bit but really like the fit and look this way.

I had to trim the front bumper out a little to clear the servo which made contact out of the box with the factory setup as well.
Being a Yeti trans I knew it could handle the power so I robbed my Yeti power plant and installed. I didn't change any of the wiring but I was able to still mount the esc down low and protected from debris.

Nice looking rig. You didn't waste much time getting it all setup. I'm running the exact same motor and esc in my Yeti. So you can fit a 550 motor in the bomber without mods?

On the drivetrain, I've had some special items laying around for a few months awaiting a special project and decided this fit the bill.
The parts I'm referring to are rare Raw Machine finish V2 housings, trusses, link mounts, lockouts, HD diff covers, scale knuckles, and scale Cs. Also in Raw Machine finish are the Method 105 bead locks.

Out back I used our already in production fabricated trailing arms and sway bar links.

The front got out aluminum hex links for lowers and will get uppers as well as the back as soon as I get material in.
As with the Wraith skid, you'll need to trim the corners of the rod end pockets for clearance on the revo rod ends to prevent binding.

I baked off the RTR S30 tired as the compound is decent and absolutely love the tire. I was disappointed when I found massive amounts of internal ribbing which prevented the use of the CI Double Deuce foams which is why I went with next best thing until the R35 KR2 hit the market.

I'm going to SLW mod he stock wheels and glue them back on with some CI Deuces Wild single stage foams so I can still use them on the U4 track.

She looks great. The clear finished housings and parts look dope. I was a little worried in the first few pics I thought they were some Integy bling, but scrolling down allowed me to breathe. The Al panels look good, I think I like the stock body colors a little better, but they are quite well done. I'm really looking forward to post like this and see what people in the know are doing to their RR10's. That was I don't have to do all my own experimenting when I build one. thanks again!!!

You will never see an Integy part on anything with CFM attached to it. I've had customers ask for their parts to save money on builds and politely tell them it's not a possibility through my shop. I only use American made machined parts

Don't want to cover the shock reservoirs and just might have something up my sleeve for that little area.
The current battery "tray" will allow small lipod to fall through so I've got some ideas floating around.
There may be a front piece offered if demand asks for it though.

I really like what you did. The panels look great. How fast is it with that Tekin brushless setup?

I have your panels on my wraith. I hope you'll be selling some for my bomber too!
I had the rear window area pegged for a panel from day one but you nailed it!
